"Fireless" Gas Ranges and Stoves

The Range That Cooks "with the gas turned
off!"

This page is always subject to improvement. Date of last revision: April 18, 2008

Well, now you've done it - you've decided to keep that heavy, porcelain monster of an antique stove, and now you need parts for it. Not only that, but you need instruction manuals, service manuals, and cookbooks.

Fortunately for you, you own a
CHAMBERS range! The links below are to those companies and individuals that I have found to be reliable sources for parts (used & reproduction), service, repairs, restoration, and, of course, literature. While I cannot be responsible for their activities other than how they have treated me, I can attest to the fact that they have been more than helpful to me, as a CHAMBERS owner/user, and that I think that they would be for you, too.

If you have any problems with any of them, let me know privately, and I will remove their names from this list (I've had to do this with several names over the years - it's amazing how many "expert" repair people claim to be out there).

If you have the name(s) of places you think I should add to the list below, please do not hesitate to send them in, and I will add them as soon as possible.

Thanks again for coming to my site, and happy fixing!

FOR THOSE WHO LIVE IN THE NORTHEASTERN UNITED STATES:

Std. DeLuxe #12  Belgrove Appliance, Inc. - Carlita Belgrove is carrying on her father's tradition of excellent parts, service, and new appliance sales to the Yonkers, New York City, New Jersey, and Connecticut areas.  She also ships parts all over the U.S., including NEW large kettles for the Chambers Thermowell! In addition to great service and restoration of someone's Chambers, she has used ones in stock ready for restoration that you can purchase if you don't have one (think of the shipping charges you'll save not having to pay to have it shipped twice!). Give her a call (be sure and tell here I sent you - Todd).    Visit Carlita's new website - it's really neat! = The Stove Lady

Std. DeLuxe #12  Mattera Stove Works - Located in Rhode Island, Don Mattera does excellent work at a FAIR price. He also has used Chambers ranges for sale - you can buy one ready to use or have him restore one for you. Give him a call (tell him I said hello).

Std. DeLuxe #12  Antique Stove Hospital - Little Compton, Rhode Island - They restore wood, coal, and gas stoves manufactured from 1850 to 1930.

FOR THOSE WHO LIVE IN THE NORTH-CENTRAL UNITED STATES:

Std. DeLuxe #12  Antique Stoves.com - Tekonsha, Michigan - Run by Edward Semmelroth - good source for parts, accessories, as well as information, and is the operator of "The Old Appliance Club" (which you should join!).
